Formerly known as Dead or Alive Online, this compilation contains both the original Dead or Alive (released on SEGA Saturn) and the sequel Dead or Alive 2. DOA2 has been upgraded significantly with improved graphics, faster gameplay, and eight brand-new environments.

Team Ninja also added new episodes from the characters' past that reveal more about their storylines. But the biggest upgrade to the two fighters is the fact that they will be fully playable over Xbox Live. And it wouldn't be Dead or Alive if there weren't tons of hidden costumes to unlock for the team's large cast of characters.

I prefer DoA 3 than DoA Ultimate. The last is a huge enhancement of DoA 2, however the animations are the same, it's actually DoA 2 with a lot of extras. DoA 3 has more advanced animations, an improved combat system and an overall better graphic too (more realistic color palette). Imho, the third is the best DoA.

I imported this game from Japan and ripped it from my original Xbox disc. If you have the Xbox component cables then this game will display in 720p HD, Widescreen and look fantastic. For me this is the best Dead or Alive Game out there. This will play on any region Xbox as long as its modded.
